We are supported by a dedicated group of individuals, including Board members, employees, and volunteers, based in both the United States and Uganda.
In the U.S., our team members come from diverse backgrounds, bringing a wide range of experiences to Shelter Academy of Light. Their leadership is guided by the organization’s core values of education, generosity, stewardship, community engagement, and faith.
In Uganda, our passionate and skilled Executive Committee and staff are united by their commitment to Shelter Academy’s mission: helping poor and orphaned children of the Mt. Elgon region in Uganda reach their full potential through access to quality education.
