Lynn Feder

A Chicagoland native, Lynn lives in Arlington Heights with her husband and three children. She is actively involved in her church, where she enjoys serving in various ministries. After learning of the life experiences of vulnerable children in Uganda and the obstacles that often limit or prevent their access to education, Lynn joined the Sakwas on their journey to make a difference through Shelter Academy of Light. She believes that quality education has the power to transform lives and lay the foundation for a hopeful future.

Lynn holds a bachelor of science from the University of Illinois’ Gies College of Business and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. She currently practices law and with her twenty-plus years of diverse legal and business experience, she’s played a pivotal role in the establishment and success of Shelter Academy of Light. It is her prayer that the light of Christ will shine through the work of Shelter Academy of Light, and that the lives of countless Ugandan children will be forever changed for their good, for the good of their local communities, and for the glory of God and His kingdom.
