Treasurer

A Chicagoland native, Lynn lives in Arlington Heights with her husband and three children. She is actively involved in her church where she enjoys serving in various ministries. Lynn earned her BS from the University of Illinois business school and her JD from the University of Chicago Law School. She has over 20 years of work experience in various business and legal fields and currently practices law. After learning about the life experiences of vulnerable children in Uganda and the obstacles they encounter that limit and often prevent their access to education, Lynn joined the Sakwas on their journey to make a difference in the lives of these children through the work of Shelter Academy of Light. She believes that a quality education can be a life-changing foundation for a bright and hopeful future for every child. It is her prayer that the light of Christ will shine through the work of Shelter Academy of Light and that the lives of countless Ugandan children will be forever changed for their good, for the good of their local communities, and for the glory of God and His kingdom.
